We have been making a lot of Michael Jackson buttons in the last few days.  We put some of them online at http://www.buttonsandmagnets.com/michaeljacksonbuttons.  What a great and inexpensive way to remember a legend.  This is something you can keep forever.  Who knows….it may even become a collectors item one day.

For the last few years, I’ve been scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to come up with decent gift ideas for my grandmother. Scented candles and bird baths can only go so far, and they lack a personal touch. Every time her birthday rolls around, I make sure to slip some pictures of me and the rest of our family into her card. It’s often the highlight of the party for her.

With that in mind, I decided to put a little more thought into her gift last year. I supplied plenty more photos inside the birthday card, but I also wrapped up a fridge magnet or two to help her display the pictures. The magnets were customizable, and I chose themes that went along with her interests – bird watching, for example.
