Great Gifts for Grandparents
For the last few years, I’ve been scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to come up with decent gift ideas for my grandmother. Scented candles and bird baths can only go so far, and they lack a personal touch. Every time her birthday rolls around, I make sure to slip some pictures of me and the rest of our family into her card. It’s often the highlight of the party for her.
With that in mind, I decided to put a little more thought into her gift last year. I supplied plenty more photos inside the birthday card, but I also wrapped up a fridge magnet or two to help her display the pictures. The magnets were customizable, and I chose themes that went along with her interests – bird watching, for example.
Keep Them Asking For Your Service!
Being in the food delivery business, client loyalty is important. One has to keep clients asking for you. Of course this can only be possible if clients are satisfied. First, you have to make sure that food is good. The delivery must be on time. Also, food must still be hot and ready to eat when the clients receive their orders.
Consider taking your business one step further by actively promoting it. Don’t just depend on word of mouth. Advertise in the daily newspaper. Create a website. Give away catchy magnet buttons, with your hotline number of course, to clients which they can post on their fridge. It is important to create a buzz for easier name recall and also to establish a name in your community.
Magnetic Mania

I have been collecting refrigerator art since I was a teenager. I currently have about 500 magnets. I used to try to display them all on one refrigerator, but it became too crowded and I had to buy a second just for my collection. The first magnets I bought were of cute baby animals. As I got older my collection expanded.
I now am really into collecting action figure magnets. Star War is my favorite, but I also have a passion for GI Joe action figures. My magnet collection has become worth a lot of money. Even if I lose my job I know I will have the security of the money from my magnets.
Show Your Support Without Ruining Your Outfit

If you are an avid supporter of any candidate this election, you are undoubtedly itching to show your support visually. One great way to let other people know just who you will be choosing this coming November, you can always wear that candidate’s button.
But there can be some issues associated with that practice. Say you want to wear your pin to work, but you’re loath to put pin holes in your best clothing. Even small pin pricks can be a problem for delicate fabrics like chiffon or silk.
If you don’t want to worry about possible rips or tears, try a magnetic button. These are secured to your clothing by adding another small magnet on the other side of your shirt or jacket. The pin is sure to stay secure all day, and you don’t have to worry about pin holes.
You can even create a magnet button on certain sites around the web. These sites often allow you to make personalized buttons, so you can place whatever picture or slogan you’d like to add.
