Sell buttons - make money
Looking for a way to make some extra money? Going on a trip or to a special event and want to make some money while you are there? Sell buttons! You can sell a few buttons to help pay for your trip or you can sell a lot of buttons and make serious money. Buttons can be made for any event…large or small. Here are a few events coming up that would be great to sell buttons for - black history month, Valentine’s Day, Mardi Gras, the Superbowl, March Madness, St. Patrick’s Day, current events…..the list goes on and on. Buttons can be easily personalized with a date, teams, a slogan or catch phrase (like “I was there”). Everyone loves buttons. Buttons are great keepsakes, a way to remember a big event.
Spread Gimics With Buttons

Election is one of the events when most brilliant ideas sprout almost everywhere. Politicians came up with a lot of propaganda and gimmicks that will make them be known by more voters and therefore increase their chance of winning.
Among the most common, yet indispensible campaign gimmick is the use of political campaign buttons. Aspiring leaders of large and small organizations make use of buttons for the following reasons:
- it can be used by everyone, even as an accessory
- it’s small and very easy to distribute
- it’s more affordable
Make Campaigning Easier

There is so much to do during political campaigns considering that there’s not enough much time to do it. Added to that, and it can really be tense and stressful. But there are many ways to make the job easier and less exhausting.
Using campaign buttons is one of the options. You can have each of your volunteer wear a campaign button with the candidate’s name, party affiliation and the date of the election. This will help them be identified in public for less effort. You can also pin it wherever you like and it makes easier for you to identify your staff and supporters as well. So aside from the other ways like newspapers, fliers, and TV, campaign buttons offers great and convenient solution to spread the word out.
Presidential Inauguration
Well, it is just a little over a week until the Presidential Inauguration. We have been working around the clock making buttons for this big event (which is why I haven’t blogged in almost a week). We have received many large orders (over 50,000 buttons) from customers who are going to Washington D.C. to sell the buttons at the Inauguration. We have received 100’s of smaller orders from people who are buying buttons for keepsakes or selling/handing them out at Inauguration parties or events. The orders keep coming in. It is a good time to be a button maker!

Autism Buttons

We have made these “I have Autism” buttons for a few years now. We designed and made the buttons but the idea was created by Nicholas Lombardi, age 11, for his brother Joey, age 9, who has autism. Nicholas wanted to explain to the world that Joey, and other kids like him, cannot help how they behave. He wants people to be more understanding of his brother and other people with autism. These buttons are being sold on Autism Speaks website at http://events.autismspeaks.org/c.ghKJIYPGIqE/b.3962073/site/apps/ka/ec/Product.asp?ProductID=564763 . Nicholas’s mother orders these buttons from us. She told us Nicholas said “mom, we could help lots of kids this way…and sell them and pay for some more speech therapy. “ His mom is so proud and we enjoy making buttons for such a great cause.
“It’s my Birthday, Shamu” buttons
We made “It’s my birthday, Shamu” 2.25-inch custom buttons for SeaWorld Adventure Park Orlando last week. They designed the button image and emailed it to us to put on buttons. SeaWorld orders these buttons periodically. They re-order by just filling out the quote form, we then email them the image to verify and a link to make payment. They usually order their buttons in just minutes. The buttons have a blue background and have Shamu smiling in the middle of the button and says “It’s my birthday!”. I was starting to think that Shamu has a lot of birthdays. But after visiting SeaWorlds’ website (http://www.seaworld.org/ask-shamu/faq.htm#killer-whales), I see that Shamu is a stage name used for any of the adult male or female killer whales in their shows. No wonder they have so many birthday parties.
